Rihanna Reportedly Purchases West Hollywood Mansion

She’s an iconic singer. A fashion and beauty maven. A businesswoman. And now, you can call Rhianna a new home owner. According to a recent TMZ report, the Barbadian designer/ singer just purchased a cool new abode.

About Rhianna’s New Abode…

The $6.8 million dollar mansion measures a little over 7,000 feet and comes equipped with just about every amenity imaginable. Located in WeHo (West Hollywood), Rhianna’s new place features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The master bedroom features a fireplace and hardwood floors.

But that’s not all. The Puma designer has plenty of space for those moments when she wants to entertain. The pool and the lounge area in the backyard encourages fun and relaxation. (It even includes an outdoor living room area of sorts.) A movie theater with oversized chairs is the place to be for home movie night. And of course, there’s a billiards room for the nights when a little play is in order.

The home is designed to be simple and elegant. Dark accents set off the white and cream-colored furnishings. Large windows open up the space: The views to the outside world are filled with lush plants, and the home is flanked by a backdrop of sloping hills and trees. A two-story guesthouse also sits on the property.

Rhianna’s Other Passions and Pursuits

Aside from being busy with her new home, music, and fashion, Rhianna is involved in a number of charitable pursuits. Hot New Hip Hop reports that the singer is involved in global education via “The Dollar Campaign.” The money raised will benefit Malawi. She has also been involved with charities that benefit those dealing with HIV/ AIDS, cancer, and other worthwhile causes.

Earlier this year, the Harvard Foundation named Rhianna “Humanitarian of the Year.” According to a report on the Harvard University website, Rhianna was awarded this honor in part for her charitable work in Bridgetown, Barbados. The singer/ designer built a center for nuclear medicine and oncology, which is said to be state-of-the-art. The Harvard site also mentions her foundation, the Clara Lionel Foundation, a nonprofit she founded in 2012.

As of yet, there’s no sign that Rhianna has taken up residence in her new place, according to TMZ, though the moving truck has been seen at her new abode.
